April 21/23/28/30 | Small Scale Development Workshop | Online

The Small Scale Development Workshop on small scale real estate development is all about project formation. We take a big picture view of neighborhood-based development to help attendees analyze what makes a good project, how a building makes money, and how small developers interact with the broader ecosystem of professionals in the built environment. Over four 2-hour sessions, attendees will learn the basics of stepping into the development world.

Registration is $200 before April 10 and $300 after April 10.

April 22 | Housing Now Leadership Council Q2 Meeting | Invite Only

Housing Now is guided by a dedicated group of over 30 organizations from across Marquette County. From public officials and builders to financial institutions, affordable housing advocates, and our largest employers the group provides vital feedback on a regular basis to keep our strategy on track, coordinate resources, and keep our momentum going. To ensure the group can have open and honest discussions, these meetings are limited to the Leadership Council.

April 22 @ 11:00am | Community Dialogues: Demystifing the Affordable Housing Process | Online

Getting affordable housing built is one of the most complex challenges in community development — and one of the most important. This Community Dialogues session breaks down the full journey from ideation to occupancy, including the financial tools, regulatory hurdles, and community dynamics that shape every project. Two experts will walk attendees through real affordable housing developments and take live questions. This event is part of Housing Now's ongoing Community Dialogues series, bringing Marquette County residents, partners, and decision-makers together around the issues that shape our housing future.
